Zahra Jiryaeisharahi

Zahra joined the Surf group as a PhD student in March 2022. In her PhD, she uses of sensor based on impedance to measure water uptake and corrosion under isolation. She works under supervision of Prof. Herman Terryn and Prof. Annick Hubin and in collaboration with iSens Pro NV. She is trying to correctly interpret the obtained EIS measurement data to detect the presence of water and characterize the state of the insulation, coatings and metal pipe.
