Xinhua Zhu

Xinhua Zhu received the B.Eng. degree from the Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2011, the M.Sc. degree from Ulm University, Ulm, Germany, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from the Electrochemical and Surface Engineering (SURF) Research Group, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Brussels, Belgium, in 2019. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the SURF Research Group, VUB. His research focuses on advanced physical-electrochemical characterizations of lithium-ion battery/ solid-state batteries by means of multiscale and multi-facet approaches, including novel operando experimental techniques based on AFM, XPS and EIS.
