Biography
Benny Wouters received the master’s degree in applied engineering from the Artesis University College of Antwerp in 2010, and the joint Ph.D. degrees in engineering sciences and applied engineering from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the University of Antwerp in 2016. Since 2016, he has been working as a postdoctoral researcher with the Electrochemical and Surface Engineering (SURF) research group. His current research focuses on advanced electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in the fields of corrosion protection, batteries, and electrochemical processing. He uses time-resolved impedance to characterize electrochemical systems in situ and in operando.
