Aysen Nazerian

Aysen Nazerian obtained her Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering in Iran. She then completed a joint master’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering with a specialization in Materials Science through the BRUFACE program between Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.

She continued her studies as a PhD student in the field of polymer science, with a focus on biopolymers, driven by her interest in biomaterials science. Her research focuses on the development of biomaterial inks using bio-based polymer networks. This project is carried out in collaboration between VUB-SUME (FYSC lab) and Université libre de Bruxelles BIOMATTER.
